I had this pop into my head the other morning. So, I drew it up!
And now it’s a print! And it can hang on your wall!
Lego Ron by Justin Peterson
11”x17” matte print on 100 lb. stock. $10.
Twitter avatars are back!
$45 gets you a avatar sized for your profile photo, plus two super-high res files (black and white AND color!), ready for printing!
I’ll base the avatar on a photo that you provide. Once you e-mail me the photo, I’ll work on your avatar! Turn around time is just a few days! (Like, 3 or so. But the faster you send me the photo, the faster you get your avatar back!)

Spider-Man
Clicky for a huge, high res version!
So, yeah. This is just a Spider-Man drawing. I did another drawing where I had to draw some of Spidey’s webbing, and I found that it’s super fun to draw, so I wanted to draw it a little more.
And so there it is… he’s swinging in with his webbing (which, again, is awesome AND easy to draw!), and it looks like he was in a fight or something. Who knows. You fill in the blanks!
I have some other stuff to share… but not quite yet!
Vampire Magneto
Commission worky work.
This is the first “real” piece of art I’ve done in a long time. Traditionally, that is. Everything else has been digital lately, and really, it has been for a long time now.
It kind of upsets me to read some comments by my favorite artists saying that digital work is “cheating”. I couldn’t agree less. I still have to know how to draw, right? I still went through school, and I can draw with a pencil if I wanted to (like I did above!), so how is it cheating? The computer is doing what for me exactly? It’s not drawing for me, that’s for damn sure.
My mac and Wacom tablet and Manga Studio are just the same as a piece of paper and a pen. The only difference is that my pen never runs out of ink, and my paper is never ending (plus, I don’t have to chop down trees to use it!)
I’m all about pen and ink, but I’m also all about digital. For those who want to do it the old school way, that’s great, but don’t look down your nose at me because I happen to draw with a tablet, okay?
Next time, I’ll complain about the worlds hunger issues! Fun!
Friendship Hot Sauce
Yes. Those kids are farting fire and high fiving. Click it for a high res version!
Another hot sauce bottle design for Tijuana Flats. The e-mail exchange was something along the lines of “two friends holding hands and farting fire”.
I though, okay, yeah, that would work, but if they’re friends, they should high-five. So I sketched it up, and here it is. Should be in stores soon. I’ve seen the Sweet Heart Revenge bottles showing up in the restaurants, so these should be close behind.
Interesting fact: This was drawn before the Sweet Heart Revenge label!
