Well, Small Press Expo 2011 has come and gone. Lee & I drove to DC (from Tallahassee!) and back over the past week… lots and lots of driving! But totally worth it.
The convention was awesome, tons of fantastically talented people milling about. I highly recommend the convention to anyone and everyone.
Also, Tuesday, I turned 30. Lee, my wonderful girlfriend Erin and I took in the sights of Washington DC and ate some awesome pizza at Matchbox (check it out if you’re ever in the area)… so, all in all? A pretty rad week.
Up next: Florida State University’s GEEK NIGHT tomorrow night, Friday, September 16th, and then the final convention of the year for Adventuring Company, APE out in San Francisco, October 1st & 2nd. We’re gonna have some brand new, never before seen comics for sale! More on that shortly.
Lee Bretschneider and myself will be taking our brand new comics on the road, and hitting a city near you (hopefully!). I’ll be premiering Very Near Mint at C2E2, and Lee will be premiering a book that has ties to VNM, called Space Girl: 4199: At the Edge of the Universe… yes, that’s the full title, yes, it’s as awesome as you think it’ll be, and yes, it somehow ties into Very Near Mint. Seriously.
We’ll be at C2E2 next week, March 18-20th, in Artist Alley, C-7.
I also have a VNM poster, buttons (yes!), and a special sketch cover edition of VNM available, and Lee will have way more prints than anyone else at the con, Space Girl, and some other little tricks up his sleeve.
Stop by and say “hey”!
