SPX 2011 Recap!
Well, Small Press Expo 2011 has come and gone. Lee & I drove to DC (from Tallahassee!) and back over the past week… lots and lots of driving! But totally worth it.
The convention was awesome, tons of fantastically talented people milling about. I highly recommend the convention to anyone and everyone.
We met up with our friends Paul and Tara, and finally met our long time internet friend Joe Hunter. Tara put together a sweet little recap comic… check it out!

Also, Tuesday, I turned 30. Lee, my wonderful girlfriend Erin and I took in the sights of Washington DC and ate some awesome pizza at Matchbox (check it out if you’re ever in the area)… so, all in all? A pretty rad week.
Up next: Florida State University’s GEEK NIGHT tomorrow night, Friday, September 16th, and then the final convention of the year for Adventuring Company, APE out in San Francisco, October 1st & 2nd. We’re gonna have some brand new, never before seen comics for sale! More on that shortly.

ONE! We’re gonna be at SMALL PRESS EXPO this coming weekend, September 10th & 11th! If you live in the DC / Baltimore area (or close by), come out and say hey! Adventuring Company is at table C14!
We have the debut of Space Girl: 4199 and tons of other stuff, like the special oversized edition of Very Near Mint: Vol. 1 and the sketchcover edition, too! 20 sketchcovers remain for vol. 1… once they’re gone, they’re gone FOREVER!
TWO! The Kickstarter campaign for Very Near Mint: Vol. 2 is gonna kick-start very soon… finalizing some details, and once that’s done, it’ll be full steam ahead.
