Kenny Powers. Just a man with a mind for victory and an arm like a f’ing cannon.
Based this off the ‘87 Topps baseball card set. I know some people hated that design, but personally, I loved it. I was super into collecting baseball cards when this set came out, so I have very fond memories of opening pack after pack of these cards.
I even went as far to seek out the correct font (and figure out the horizontal stretching!) for the name plate. I’m weird like that.

The Strongest Man… IN THE WORLD.
For this piece, I was inspired by vintage circus sideshow posters. Artie seems like he would fit in there, right? I, like most everyone in their 30’s, loved Pete & Pete. That show was way ahead of it’s time.
